Dreamweaver 8 and Flash Button sound effects

I can't seem to find the answer to this question anywhere on the web

In my Dreamweaver 8 designed site, I use flash buttons on the individual pages as links to other pages on the site. My problem is the sound effect that is associated when someone clicks on these buttons. I don't want any sound associated with that action but I can't find any information on how to edit out the sound.

Any help greatly appreciated,

Chris

The forums on our site are to be used for the purpose of getting applications to run with CrossOver and getting them to run better with CrossOver. Questions like this may often be ignored as they should be asked on a 'how-to' forum about the application in question.

That being said, you should be able to remove your sound layer from your button. Essentially the opposite of creating a sound layer:

Or, you should be able to select or omit the sound feature opposite the details here:

Or perhaps this would be of help:

Final suggestion is to choose a site with a decent forum response regarding questions on Dreamweaver 8 and ask your question there. I would not suggest the forums on adobe's site as it seems mentioning using Flash for buttons will quickly get you flamed. But the forums at http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk seem to be well responded to... the search feature is a bit klunky, but the answers seem quite helpful and thorough and the community seems very friendly even to beginners (which is not a common feature on some sites).
