Hello, all,

I'm sorry to post here, but I have submitted dns8 as an application with no response so far.

I've been messing around with cxoffice/wine and dns8 pro. The install fails, and I clearly have some msi issues. The professional version comes with an alternate installer (msi-based), which is kind of nice.

Does anyone have advice on installing the Windows Installation Service (msiexec.exe, etc.) in a wine-friendly way? Mine is not registering itself at the end so that some services fail.

Update: I now have dns8 pro installed and starting up. I will mess with the new user setup later.

I've been distracted with xvoice directly under Linux, I'll be trying DNS Preferred 8 under COO 4.1 here soon, I noticed you have DNS 8 installed under COO, I'm going to see about moving my advocate status under DNS 8 with you if you don't mind.

So DNS 8 works, to some extent, with COO??
I tried DNS 7.0 with COO 6.0.0, and it worked, although somewhat inaccurately. Has anyone had any success with DNS 8 with COO 6.0.0 or 6.0.1?
I plan to try DNS 7 and 8.
