in order to make a load at all, you need to set your Windows compatibility mode to XP. w2k3 might also work but I've run out of energy for today for the delete, reload cycle.
You need to have at least Internet Explorer 5.0 running which means you just install 6.
83 percent of the way through the install (give or take), you're presented with a dllRegister server return code 800401f0 error code. you can continue but you are then informed that NaturallySpeaking cannot find a riched20.dll which really does stop you dead.
