Please someone help I'm installed via disc.
Mine is also crashing on startup. I tried disabling winegstreamer but it didn't change. I'm running from origin.
As far as I know, nothing that requires Origin will work with CrossOver or Wine.
Oh there seems at least some people have origin games working over at WineHq.

Ok I had forgotten about that. I'm using the patch.
Ok so I found my install cd. Put it in a new bottle. Manually installed awakenings. Applied 1.05 update. It boots fine. No need to disable winegstreamer.dll
Thought I'd see how the cd binary would go in origin bottle. Still same crash. Copied entire install to Origin bottle and it boots fine. So yeah its origin screwing it up somehow.
