Crash at end of installation - barely runs in-game ~ MAC

Hi!
I have Crossover Games 10 and when I install the game it goes fine until it tries to install Physx 9.09. This crashes the whole thing.
The game IS executable, it opens to the menu, although the opening video is missing (only audio) and the same when I try to create a new game (the intro video). It was possible for me to customize my character and enter the game and beginning dialogue.
When it goes into play mode however, the whole thing crashes as soon as I zoom in or out or move my character around.

I've googled a bit but I found nothing of use.
The game HAS worked on my Mac just fine, but I deleted the game after a few weeks and now I want to play again.

I have a Macbook OSX 10.6.7 with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Due and 2 GB memory.

Hopefully there is a solution, thanks in advance.

Hi,

I imagine you did not install it via the crosstie?

Installing that way fails because automatic installation of PhysX is not handled properly by wine. Actually, a lot of games will not install correctly if they also have to install their own requirements. Usually it's best to install the requirements by yourself, then install the game, which is exactly what the crossties are for (basically).

Also, DA:O's crosstie in particular takes care of adding a non-default DirectX registry setting, so you definitely want to check that out.

Thanks heaps for the quick and helpful reply!
I'm not new to Crossover, but I seem always to just let it slide when a game doesn't work. This time I know it CAN work, so I'm determined to accomplish a working game.

Oh, I used Crosstie this time, but I got the same error at PhysX.
:(

EDIT:
The error still came, but magically enough, the game works! Videos and all!
Thank you a million!
