Dota 2 mini map problems (mac)

I currently am running dota 2 through wine on my mac but decided to try crossover. Everything handles much better but the minimap is doesn't show any towers, creeps, logos etc. and is sometimes blurry. I have never seen anything like this so I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and whether or not it is a simple fix?
Thanks!!

I ran Dota 2 with launch flags: "-novid -nod3d9ex -sw -w 1920 -h 1080" on Mountain Lion on it shows the map fine, but I have problems with the lighting particle, which should be fixed in the v12 release, when a new wine version would be merged (which fixed the issue), so looking forward for that.

Thank you so much it works perfectly now!! Also do you know when new release will occur?

I was having the same issue with my map and tried the fix that you suggested. It fixed my map but now my game won't go completely full screen and I can still see the tool bar on the top of my screen. I was also having issues with panning the camera down because my dock kept appearing. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi, ianb. In my system running Linux and KDE, I was able to ajust the -w (width) and -h (height) parameters to change the size and make the borderless window fit exactly between my two docked panels (I have 2 vertical bars - one left and one right). This way, the game window won't overlap your dock bar and your problem might be fixed... I hope! This have the advantage that you still can see the information from the bars, like CPU use and CPU and GPU temperatures, though the gaming area becomes a bit smaller, not a big issue on a big monitor, but may be a problem in a netbook.
