Ding! makes a ding noise when it gets an airfare specials update. I don't know why - and personally don't care - but there is no "ding" for me under SuSe Linux 9.3. But everything else works great.

I should add that I didn't try anything to get the sound running yet. It could be an issue with my setup and that it works great for you right from install.
