If you have access to a windoze machine, you can copy the game folder, and the Battle.net folders in %appdata%/* to get it working in your machine. Terribly cludgy, but it seems to be a viable work around, at least on Linux.
I updated to 24.0.7 during the better tester weekend and tried to break it. It worked and performed great. MBP Max M4 - 64GB, D3DMetal/ESync/High-Resolution Mode, Graphics all on Highest runs outstnading! If you get 24.0.7 clear out your existing installation of b.net and start from scratch. Maybe install your Diablo onto an external or other partition so you can just put it back and not have to re-download it.
