Diablo IV on Intel iMac20,1

Hello, I just tried to install and run Diablo IV on my Intel iMac 20,1 (i5 @ 3,1 GHZ, 40GB Ram, Radeon Pro 5300, Sonoma 14.6.1). On Crossover App Compatibility list Diablo IV is mentioned as "running fine" or "running best". So I was confident, that it will work.
I installed Crossover 24.0.5 (24.0.5.37094), made a new bottle with the Diablo (Win10 64Bit), let crossover download install files, Installed Battle.net (now updated to 2.36.1.15065), bought Diablo IV with Vessel of Hatred, Battle.net downloaded Diablo IV 2.0.3.59036. After finishing, Diablo IV did not start. After quitting battle.net app crossover reported that Diablo did NOT install, although the process within battle.net did finish like it should.

Must I change anything manual to start Diablo IV on my Intel iMac? Or does Diablo IV not run on Intel iMacs?

Meanwhile I setup a bootcamp and there Diablo IV is running on my machine. I would prefer not switching out of MacOS into Win10 to play the game - natively on my Mac or feel like Diablo III would be nice.

After starting Diablo, battle.net shows that Diablo IV is being played - but no windows appears. After like 10 seconds the Button changes to "update game" but there is no update. Then a "Fenris" Window is popping up stating there was an unexpected error in the app and there is a cryptic ID (it changes all time).

I tried "DXVK", "ESync" and "MSync" in the setting, but nothing helped.

I tried to install list night (but on Apple Silicon MacBook Pro) and had the exact same issue. Install never completed according to Crossover, but Battle.net finished installing the software. Everything looked great when trying to run it, but then had the same "Go back to updating for a second and then Fenris error popup" happen to me.

Would love to know if this is fixable or if the current version is broken with Crossover.

Hi folks,

Unfortunately, there is no workaround for Intel Macs at the moment. We are working hard on a fix, and will release an update once we have one.

Best,
Meredith

Still no fix right?
