Same here on Crossover 22 Beta, I tried to click show details for any errors and it was loading then it closed it's window and returned to BattleNet app.
EDIT: This was tested on macOS Apple Silicon on macOS 13.0 Ventura Beta
I'm getting the same problem. Can we actually run it?
Try again with the Crosstie
So we're supposed to use that CrossTie-Blackbox-Thingies for every game when the launcher is already installed? That's ridiculous. And it doesn't work anyway. I just ran the CrossTie in my Battle.net bottle but still get the error above. The ratings say that this runs on Linux since CrossOver 21, but it does not. Also not with version 22 and the new 23. Notably even the debugger crashes when someone clicks the details button.
I gave Diablo Immortal a crack on Crossover 23 using the Crosstie on my Mac. No luck. Nearly made it into the game, got past the initial updates, started loading after 'click to play' got to 100% and then crashed. Appears it can be unstable on Windows, so I'm not expecting great things. Tried a couple fixes I found on Reddit to no avail, crashing at same spot.

Why is that ridiculous? And how are CrossTies black boxes?
If you're having a problem and you'd like assistance, please enter a support ticket. I just tested this game on Monday and it was working for me then.

I got it working with CrossOver 23 by disabling DXVK.

Because once you install the launcher, you normally use it to install all the games. One normaly wouldn't think of going back into CrossOver UI and select every game to install from there.

For things like this. The CrossTie enables DXVK, but the game only works without it. I had CrossTies create links or apply registry patches which broke more than they fixed. In addition to that many CrossTies are outdated and do a lot of weird things. For example, there are three only for Warcraft III whereas all these versions have been upgraded to the Reforged client, which needs to be installed throughout the Battle.net App. Same for StarCraft, which the CrossTie wants to install in a new Windows XP bottle and still wants a physical disc, even though the current version is 64-bit, can be downloaded for free and runs great in a 64-bit Windows 10 bottle. The Battle.net CrossTie somehow changes the Template variable of the cxbottle.conf from Win10_64 to WinXP_64. I don't trust CrossTies and am very hesistant to use them.
Hey, I'm completely new here, and I have no idea what CrossTie is...
So, I searched the wiki, and found this page: https://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/c4p_main
Where to find such CrossTie for Diablo Immortal?
Is it like via regular Install, and that adds CrossTie Data?
Z.
Hi there,
Correct, if you search for and install "Diablo Immortal" like your screenshot shows, you're using the CrossTie :)
Best,
Meredith

Thanks Meredith 🙇♂️
I'm using an Intel based Mac. I managed to install Diablo Immortal, and it even starts. It goes through the update, and reaches the server selection menu. Sometimes, if I'm fast enough, I can even see a snippet of gameplay. But for me the game crashes after about 50-55 seconds. It doesn't matter whether DXVK is enabled or not, the result is the same. Any suggestions?
Some one add review and 4/5 rank. Says working. IF someone explain i want to buy .
''Crosstie install will stall but once Battle.net confirms installation it will complete if you kill Battle.net.exe.
Running well on M2 Max with
32GB RAM and d3metal but enable vsync in game or you'll see tearing. Haven't played much so hopefully things hold up in large mob groups''
After last update its working guys! Have a fun
