Direct3D9 is not available without OpenGL

I get this error over and over in the terminal after I click the "Play" button on the Diablo III Launcher

"Direct3D9 is not available without OpenGL"

Running Debian Testing (current as of the message)
Geforce GTX 570 (driver 295.53-1)

Native OpenGL games run just fine.

fixed it, needed the 32-bit nvidia glx libs

well it runs smooth, but its stuck at 1024x768 windowed. on my 24in LCD thats a bit small
