The install fails for me. I'm using RedHat Pro (9.1) with current updates from RHN. The log file talks about an unhandled exception and this is preceded by a bunch of "fixme" log entries. Does anyone have any ideas?

My positive results are from a fairly generic RedHat 9 system. I'm not familiar with a RedHat 9.1 version. Do you know if it contains the exec-shield and prelinking features? (Those have been causing headaches for a lot of people and are standard in the recent Fedora Core and RHEL releases from RedHat, and the workaround is to disable them.)
Do any other Win32 applications have similar problems or is it just Diablo II?
Also, did you use the native MSVCRT? In the past I had seen the installer fail without that, but the last time I tried it worked without it.
