I've been trying to install the game and when it asks my to initially swap install discs (from Install to the Play Disc) the installer doesn't detect the other disc, though OSX does. How did anyone else do a successful CD install?

This is happening because CrossOver mounts each piece of media to a new drive letter. This is by design.
There are ways to workaround it...

Sorry about that! Why did I think they'd updated it... must have been something else, my apologies.
I remember Blizzards last announcement made me believe they upgraded it but that was wishful thinking on my part
