Diablo II Resurrected Graphics errors in parts of the game

I recently installed D2R on a Macbook Pro M1 (Apple Silicon). It works really well, but I get graphics artifacts in some of the areas in the game. Specifically the river of flame in act 4 displays big white rectangles in many places making the game unplayable there. My current solution is to switch to original gfx in that area. If I could change some settings to make it go away it would be very nice.

Best, Marc

Same here on a Apple M1 Max. Especially in Act 2 walls and out-of-area parts just randomly show white boxes. But all other Acts are mostly okay

Same problem also here in River of flame on mac mini with M2pro. I will try switching to old graphics.

Cheers

Has anyone found a solution for the flashing white boxes? I get the issue on both my M1-MBP and M2 Studio. Been trying everything to solve the issue.

I am running Diablo II Resurrected on my MacBook Pro 14" M1 Max, and currently don't see any visual issues that you are reporting.

Mac OS Sonoma
CrossOver 23.5.0
D3DMetal: Enabled
ESync: Enabled

Are you guys using the same settings?

Thank you so much! I had D3DMetal disabled. After enabling it, it looks good. :)

I also use Apple M1 Max and there is no way to show white boxes. Do you have any solution? Help me, plz.

Frances: As others have already explained in the thread, you should be able to eliminate the "white box" issue by enabling D3DMetal in your bottle settings.
