Picture is too dark unless when shooting

3D rendering issue: the picture too dark unless when shooting... Making the game almost unplayable.
Bottles tried: win7 32bits (then with DirectX9 dependency added), win7 64bits. Installed from retail DVD-ROM (folders date: 2007-04-23).

A other smaller issue: cutscenes videos are not played (.MPG files).
