Derive 6.10 with CO Mac 7.1.0

Testing on a iMAc with Os X 10.5.5
Installation (Derive 6): All OK
Upgrade to Derive 6.10: All OK

Derive works as expected. The built-in help doesnt work.
Cant insert special characters as #, [, square root, etc, using keyboard (I'm using Italian keyboard).
inserting special characters is possible using the Derive Palette.
