I keep getting "Visual C++ Runtime Library" has a "Runtime Error".

I installed Democracy 4 through Steam, currently version 1.49.
Reinstalling the game did not fix, nor did rebooting the bottle.
I have no mods for the game installed.

Installed Steam bottle.
Also installed:

• Steam CommonWorks
• DXVK (Built-in)
• Microsoft Visual C++ 20[08,10,13,15,17] 32&64bit. (Except 2017 is only x86)

Settings:

• High Resolution Mode
• Performance Enhanced Graphics
• DXVK backend for D3D11

Things I have tried:

• Different combinations of the above settings.
• Reinstalling the game
• Rebooting the bottle.

Current workaround:

• Restarting the game until it randomly works. Takes 20-30 tries.

I've had the same issue AS Kai Prince since the beginning of March. I tried installing every DXVK driver I could and using different versions of Windows to no avail. It worked fine at first though in mid-February.

I installed Democracy 4 through CrossOver, but get a "Windows" error on launch that says "File already exists."

It gives no other information

I'm on Crossover 22.0, and its running Windows 7 64-bit

Any ideas/thoughts?
