How do you get the models to work?

Hey,

I recently installed this game. The game works perfectly, except for the models. No guns/turrets appear and nor do any aliens. Many people have reported it to work. How can I go about making this work for me? I'm on Linux Mint 9 x64 (an Ubuntu deviant) with a Nvidia 9600GSO. I play the game in Windowed mode.

Hi,

I just did some testing on this, and it seems in OSX all the models
etc are drawn correctly, so the issue is linux centric in some way.
There's also a winebug on the issue ... 21076
