Hi there. Looks like no one had recorded their observations when trying to run DCS world on crossover.

I get the wine64-preloader icon pop up after successfully installing the software but it is just a black screen and nothing happens.

I enabled the DXVK backend as well as a test but same black screen.

Are there any generic troubleshooting steps for when this happens?

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution either, but I can join in directly. It's exactly the same problem on my M1.

I am an enthusiast of DCS World, like you. Please search for "DCS World" by typing DCS World, on the search area (top right), to find the information of DCS World related to CrossOver, Compatibility Database, once we are on this section, let's proceed to vote by clicking on the "Vote For Support" button, in order to get support, the more votes we can get, the better.

I have been able to install this simulator by using CrossOver, in a Windows 10 bottle, without problems. After the installation is completed, I can start launching this simulator, where DCS World will remain loading, like trying to start, but it remain in a loop. I even can see the loading screen, with the logos of DCS World.
