No input reponse

installed latest CX tonight.
installed DC. had to make some modifications to bottle (installing Dot net for eg)

game patches and starts fine but when I get to character selection screen I can not move my cursor

no response from keyboard, mouse or xbox controller.
Anyone else seen this?

Tested tonight on 12.2.0 for linux.

game runs as per previously posted. can get the character screen however once there can get no response from mouse or keyboard in game. (can ALT+TAB to other apps and ALT+F4 to close the game)

Same behavior here too. Game installs, patches, loads, and then boom no mouse movement. Mouse is just stuck in the middle of the screen doing nothing. Nothing I've tried has worked to ease the issue. Although it used to work with an older version of crossover.

Sup guys,

I have the same issue. Too tired to work on it right now, but I will test out a few things later. The installation itself went fine. I even used the EU-Prosieben version of the game with the Crosstie available via Crossover 13. Launching the game works fine too, but the mouse cursor is stick in the middle of the screen. According to Winehq, it seems to be a known bug. We might just be missing some form of software though. Trying to configure the game settings via launchpad leads to a warning saying that .net 3.5 isn't installed.

Sup guys,

just in case someone else comes here with the same issue: Mr. Silviu Cojocaru, one of the advocates of the game, has provided me some very helpful information regarding this issue. All credit goes to him for finding an immediate fix to the issue. Honestly, I contacted him and five minutes later he got back to me with a fix. Awesome? Yeah.

This is the information Mr. Cojocaru provided me. In order to fix the mouse pointer issue, you must do the following:

1. You start the bottle manager, select the DCU bottle and then press the "Run Command" button. In the window that pops up you type regedit and press enter.

2. In the window that pops up, find this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\DirectInput

3. Change this value: MouseWarpOverride = force and modify the value to "disable". After modifying the value, it should look like this: MouseWarpOverride = disable

The alternative: Just delete it if the previous step does not work.

4. Close and launch the game. The mouse pointer issue should be gone now. The game is working just fine now. No issues so far and performance is good.

Have fun,
Alex

I'm having the same problem.
But I don't understand this step: 1. You start the bottle manager, select the DCU bottle and then press the "Run Command" button. In the window that pops up you type regedit and press enter.

What is meant with the bottle manager and where do I find it? Also, where can I find the Run Command button?
Thanks!

Kind regards

Figured it out, if anyone need help feel free to ask.
