I uninstalled the content manager, and used open to open a file and was able to open it (some of the time) Your Mileage may vary.
Instructions for Importing Content
Important information.
Seems to work well on CrossOver XI
Hello
I just installed DS4 in Slackware 13.37
-The install process is fine but the content manager shows an error.
-The program runs anyway, but it can not find Genesis under the Smart Content tab. I did a google search and found it wasn't a Linux only problem as the Windows version does show this bug too.
-Taking a look at my ~home/Daz 3D/Studio/My Library folder, I could clearly see Genesis installed. So I used the content libraryas I'd seen in a comment posted to the youtube tutorial, and then could easily import a dragon and then a Genesis shape and hair.
As with other products installed in Crossover XI, I'm missing high res icons, although this is a minor bug I had to copy the icons manually in /usr/share/icons/hicolor... and reference the new icon in the .desktop files.
How did you install DAZ? Just select "unsupported application"? Did you install 64bit in a Vista Bottle or 32bit?
How do you install content? Download the win .exe and run all of the packages or download the mac .zip and simply unzip into the right (which?) folders?
Next Question:
If I want to install the DAZ 3D Plugin for Photoshop, should I install both applications in the same bottle?
DAZ 4.5 installs but does not start :(
