Day of Defeat: Source Forum

Hello,

 I have tried to run Day of Defeat: Source in Windowed mode at 1280x800, it crashed, and it won't launch completely, is there anyway I could change the resolution so it would work? Also, deleting local content and re-installing does not work,

1 You can go into 'Configure' choose 'Manage Bottles...'

2 Highlight the bottle with DOD:S installed in it

3 Select 'Control Panel' and choose 'winecfg'

4 In the 'Graphics' tab, change the settings to suite you

5 Try them out

You might also try lowering the graphic settings a bit when you get a little further with the issue at hand.

I have the same problem, once I changed the game to window mode it stopped working. Could you teach me how to fix this a with a little more detail, because i tried messing around with the graphics tab but i cant find a solution

Okay I learned how to make the game work again, I dont know why it doesnt work in windowed but whatever.

just click on the day of defeat title and right click to properties
then enter the launch command -fullscreen
from there the game can start again and you should fix your resolution settings
