Dark Messiah: Might and Magic Forum

The game seems to run good but there are 2 major problems.

1-Intro and movies don't play

2-Font aren't loaded, you see "boxes" instead of any font in the game.

Regarding the second problem: which version do you use of the game? The Steam version or the disc version?

In the latter case I assume that the required fonts are simply missing. When you install Steam via CrossOver, the appropriate fonts are downloaded and installed automatically.

However, I can add a third problem: some crucial shader effects don't work. This included the "Night Vision" spell, leaving you literally in the dark in some passages of the game. This really causes some trouble.

Yeah, i agree about the nightvision.

Fonts are ok now, intro still miss video. I had a crash, but the game seems faster.

hi the dark messiah game didn't crossover and when i downloaded it,it said please insert real disk which i did can you help me through how to download it.

Are you using Steam? It works (with many problems) under Steam, without using the CD

Thanks to CG 8.0 the game is running very well now, night vision works, no more gfx glitches, intro now plays fine, even mouse button are recognized better. Anyway i can't use all the resolutions available, (resolution not supported popup).
