Problems windowed mode version version 12.1.2

Keeps giving me a whited out screen every time i try to load the character selection screen, im on a late 2010 mac so the graphics shouldnt be a problem, any suggestions in the set up? i uninstalled crossover and the client and reinstalled crossover again
