Is there a way to enable cloud saves (GOG Games version)?

I purchased Cyberpunk 2077 from GOG Games, but to enable cloud saves, I apparently need to launch the game from GOG Galaxy. As far as I've been able to determine, GOG Galaxy won't run under Crossover for macOS. I'd like to enable cloud saves should I switch between my Windows gaming desktop and macbook pro. Is it possible to enable the cloud save feature without GOG Galaxy? Or should I have purchased the Steam version?
