Curse v3 installs like a charm in my WoW Bottle (win xp) and I can also use Curse and log myself in. The only problem is, that Curse can't connect to its databank to check which of my addons are up2date. Maybe because v3 is just to old and too many things have changed over the time (v5 is out already which is not compatible with wine).
Checking for addons the one and only function of this program, so I would call it known not to work.
