I can run the launcher and demo just fine, but when I try to login with my picroma account details, it says 'Cannot connect to update server'. I have email'd and posted comments but had no reply yet, this thread is just to see if it gets attention quicker than anything else. I've been told to try to ping picroma from my Mac, but it doesn't work and my firewall is turned off.
Does anyone know why I might be 'blocked' from connecting to picroma? I can load the site fine through my browser and whatnot.

Yeah I came here looking for a solution to the exact same problem, I have no idea what might be causing it, I log into the launcher, it says cant connect to update server, I click the play button and the launcher closes and thats it, nothing else happens.

There where issues with the servers I guess...
Had the same problem yesterday and now it is working.

Indeed. Their servers went down for a period yesterday and caused some heartache for them I'm sure.
