Hi i use Crossover games and i installed cs 1.6 but games are too laggy

the main manu is ok
is like bad 3D performance

anyway do I need to instal a software? like strem or half-life?
my macbook pro
procesor 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2Duo
memory 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Mac OS X 10.6
I just instaled CS and nothing more
do I need to intal anything more?
the game seems ok but when I hit the start i cnat move and also sound is kind of slow

Ok so first, check if your macbook is configured for Performance and not Economy, else, it'll slow down for any game or apply you'll try to run and which take more than the memory of the first graphic card.

Second, i would recommand you to run it by steam if you want to play it online without trouble, old versions can be not compatible with actual servers, and you may be experiencing lag/disconnect/or error while playing or joining a game. If you just want to do some LAN with your friends, be sure they have the same version as your.

Finally, if this couldn't even help a bit, please, send us more details like the file config.cfg in your counter-strike folder so we can help you even better =D.

well I set higer batery performance and nothing changed
I tried to use Opengl in video option and nothing

should i turn on anything in ma mac?

Can you detail the video configuration you setted in the game? and also, can you tell if the sound is running well so that would confirm it comes from graphic issues?

I didn't really changed anything but the battery perform in my Mac, and it seems by the configuration you gave that i have the same as yours ^^".
