hey...

so starting 1.6 is good..playing with bots works fine..but i cann ´t connect to any online server...
it says that my cs version is wrong .. cant´t help myself

Yeah, mine does that also......... anyone have a solution to this?

I know it's only in the developing stages... but I hope they fix this somehow. 😥

We are working on this. This is a known bug. You can work around this for now by doing the following:

1. Get the IP of the host you want to connect to. You can do this by right clicking on the Server name in the server list and clicking properties. Higlight the IP and copy it to the clipboard.

2. Open the in game console by hitting the "~" tilde key.

3. Type "connect <IP ADDRESS>"
   Paste in the IP address after connect.

This will get you conencting to multiplayer servers in the meantime.

You can use the server browser in Steam to join servers. Simply find a counter strike server in the list and join it. Steam will launch Counter Strike and automaticly join the server without a problem.
