I've been playing css with crossover games for about a year now. Steam is working fine but when I join css it goes to the main screen (one with the two men holding guns) with the loading icon in the bottom right corner but that is it. No text pops out I cant select anything and whenever a screen overlaps with the css screen it goes black in the overlapping area. Do u have any ideas? Thankyou Customer

um...are you playing in windowed mode?
You could try launch options like -novid -sw +mat_hdr_level 0
You have said that you have been playing CSS for over a year on CxGames ....could there be anychanges that have caused the problem?

Yeah thanks I worked it out myself. Got a clean cstrike folder with no cfgs, skins or maps and that worked. (probably a dodgy fiel somewhere in the cstrike folder. 😊
