X-ray Anti-Cheat

Hi,

I use Crossover games for Counter Strike Source and Teamspeak, they work fine and I am impressed with the product...

On clan games now there is a requirement for X-ray Anti-Cheat to be loaded, this is a client side antic cheat application. On reading the installation instructions it looks like it wants to update the DirectX version of your system to 9.0 in order for it to work, my question is will this application work or not?

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I don't want to have to set-up a dual boot system just for one application.
