I've been trying to get Hammer to work and it never does. I'm running a black Macbook with 2gb of ram, and a 2.1ghz proc.
Unfortunately it doesn't, because of the way it renders the 3D graphics to a child window of its whole window. On MacOS, this completely fails right now(we're working on getting rid of the X server, this should improve this). Beyond that, our D3D implementation doesn't support back buffers that are bigger than the destination window right now, and we need this for Hammer.
Yes I've experienced Source SDK not working on my macbook, as well
It just loads black screens all over the place, or the whole thing freezes.
I wish this app would work, because i could start my mapping skills :D
