CSS on Mac OS: How to disable mouse acceleration?

Even when using the launch options "-noforcemaccel -noforcemparm -noforcemspds" with Counter Strike:Source, which is supposed to instruct the game to switch of any mouse acceleration, Mac OS' mouse acceleration still applies.  For me, this makes CSS essentially unplayable.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get rid of mouse acceleration in game?

PS: Sorry for cross-posting from the general cxgames forum, but I realised that this forum is the more appropriate place for the question. I assume that the same issue should arise with TF2.

The problem is that we cannot read raw mouse input on Macs; The Mac acceleration is applied before cxgames gets the values. So you'll have to disable the mouse acceleration in the OSX settings(and reenable it after playing since this will make the mouse unusable for day-to-day operations)

It seems as if a commonly(?) used option on the Mac is for games to change the (global) mouse acceleration programmatically. I think this is reasonable at least in fullscreen mode, maybe even in windowed mode as long as the focus is on the game window. Here is some code from Apple demonstrating the use of the HID System Manager for this purpose (the documentation explicitly mentions the use of this technique for games):

i tried disabling the acceleration w/o much of a difference to make it worth the hassle.
just tweak your sensitivity to your likeing and keep the smooth mouse button checked. im at sensitivity 3.9 and climbing.
