In the video stress test i noticed this, and on certain zombie mod servers i see the same thing the "liquid/clear" charachter is just plain white.
this is almost exploitive of the game, but i feel commited to helping.

The video stress test soldier is white on the low shader detail setting. Are you using low shader detail?
