Would Increasing My Ram, Would my Game Run Faster?

I really want to find a way to get my game to run quicker. My game runs at anywhere from 5-40 fps on most maps and most servers, but it usually sticks to the 10s, and 20s. This really bothers me. Is there anyway to increase the FPS, and how

also, would getting more RAM make my game run quicker. thanks

We had a user report on IRC that CS:S ran slowly for him until he set the resolution higher, to the full resolution of his screen. That's a weird result that we don't understand, but it's worth a try.

If that doesn't help, then you should experiment with the in-game graphics settings. Lowering the graphics quality may get you better performance.

Adding RAM to your computer may make CS:S run quicker, but I can't promise anything. It's a known problem that CrossOver doesn't yet equal native Windows performance with 3D games, but it shouldn't be as slow as you're reporting.
