I just upgraded my Crossover Office Professional 5.03 on Ubuntu Edgy amd64 to Crossover Office Professional 6.0. One of the first things I tried was to install Corel Graphics Suite 9.
First I tried to install it in a Win98 bottle because I thought that the Win98 bottles would be better supported. However, I could not get past a popup at the beginning of the install that said that Corel Setup Wizard was already running. It offered to kill it so as to continue, but when I told it to do so it just cycled the install utility back to the beginning. I tried Terminate Windows Programs and even restarted the computer, but could not get past that point.
Finally I tried installing it in a new Win2000 bottle. I like to install each application in its own bottle so I can nuke it easily if the installation blows up. I named this one Win2000-Corel. I proceeded to the installation but had a lot of trouble reading the CD. Eventually I aborted the installation, opened Nautilus and copied the entire contents of the CD to ~/Corel/. Then I deleted the bottle, launched the Install Windows Software utility, recreated the Win2000 bottle and told it to install from disk and pointed it at ~/Corel/Setup32. The installation was done in under a minute. When it finished I opened the menu, found the new items, clicked on CorelDRAW and it came right up. Tried Photopaint and it came right up too.
I haven't played with them yet to see if all the features work, but they seem to be working fine so far.
