Initial Test on OSX 10.5.8 using Mac Crossover 8.0 Pro, Windows XP bottle.
Tested to work:
- Install
- Launch Corel Draw 8
- Edit an image, laying in various objects like squares, text, etc.
Tested to NOT work:
- Copy and Paste. Copy claims to place data on the clipboard, pasting puts nothing into the drawing.
- Printing - DON'T DO IT - you're asking for trouble, appears to send a ton of text along with text of hex code to the printer - appears to be some sort of post script code, instead of it getting interpreted as the image to be printed, all you get are sheets and sheets of text. Spewed out 5 pages of unusable text before I could get the print manager open to cancel the job.
Not fully tested:
- Save and Load
- Load from a pre-existing drawing on a PC
- Advanced graphical work.
The things that don't work to me are pretty major - I almost rated bronze and I may still downgrade if I find more broken with it, but right now, it appears to be just functional enough to be silver.
