Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Forum

I have tried installing several times, and it hangs up on the copying files portion. The progress bar keeps going until it reaches then end, and it just keeps installing, yet never finishes. Help!

According to winehq, this title seems problematic at best...see;

Going by the material there, I get the distinct impression this title
is very picky about which wine version it's going to work with. The
current crossover-games 8.0 is based on wine-1.1.25 ; the ranking on
the above page is 'garbage' for this wine version ; other ranking there
of better results, all involve different wine releases ; if we look
at the gold medal ranking here for this title, that's against linux
using COG-7.2.0 -- a lot of things have changed since 7.2.0 in the
COG releases...

Also...what you describe wrt installation problems, may very much
depend on your OS/platform specs (which hasn't been mentioned here)
...and, you should mention which installation media you are using,
because there's more than one release of this title..ie; dvd, digital
download, Steam...

You will probably need to supply this extra information, before anyone
can really advise you properly here....ie; did you see the particulars
of the HowTo on the above winehq page?...this looks non trivial at best..
