Make a separate bottle for Red Alert 3 since this will break other games.
-
Install Red Alert 3 from the CD.
-
Now the game requires that you register the game with the DVD, after that you can go no CD. But people have been running into trouble with it so I'm gonna find a fix to evade registration.
-
Select run from the program files and select the Red Alert 3 bottle and run "regedit"
-
Set "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D/useGLSL" to "enabled"
-
Create new String Value in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Wine/Direct3D/" called it "offscreenRenderingMode " and set the value to "fbo"
-
Restart Crossover Games
-
Run "winecfg" like you did for "regedit" and go to the Graphics tab and select emulate virtual desktop and set to preferred resolution.
-
Enjoy!
Note: I found this from a blog with screenshots but I haven't tried it. I have a feeling it works.
