Alright, here an overview of the game status including certain solutions to make things clear in one thread.
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars DVD version:
I recently installed C&C 3 Tiberian wars again tot test if it still works in Crossover Games 9.1.
And i got it still working correctly using a "stuck keyboard bypass", and setting at graphics "shader detail" to low.
To fix the keyboard problem: Unzip This file to and past the "profiles" folder in: Main Partition/Users/YOUR USER NAME/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Name of the bottle which has CNC3 in it/drive_c/users/crossover/Application Data/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/
Ow last but not least: The DVD version contains CD copy Protection(DRM).
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Steam version:
If i should believe Daniel Wolf, the steam version works great using "shader detail" to low and installing VC 2005 runtime after installation via steam.
For the ones who do not know: Steam games contains no CD copy Protection, so they don't run in that issue.
Issues:
The only issue left at the moment what i discovered (multiplayer not tested), is for at least the Mac the keyboard issue (mentioned above).
What says WineHQ?
