Crossover 23.7.1
Game installed and downloaded from Steam library.
Bottles tested windows 11, Windows 10 steam install.
Currently when trying to start the application, a direct X error occurs. The error states there is no direct X available. Please check that you have Direct X9 and above.
Any suggestions to correct the problem.

Crossover Version 23.7.1 (23.7.1.36573)
Installed Steam in the default 64-bit Windows 10 bottle. Downloaded Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath previously purchased through Steam.
Tried running either games from within the Steam interface. Get the splash screen and then the following error message:
Please make sure you have Directx 9.0 or higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements, and that you do not have hardware acceleration disabled in the Display control panel.
Double-clicking either app icon within the bottle starts Steam and resutls in the same error message.
Enabling DXVK (no idea what it does but it has "DX" in out) did not help.
FWIW, C&C Remastered Edition does play well.
Please advise solution and take my $62 already ;)

Your Steam Bottle may need to have Direct X For Modern Games Installed into the Bottle for a number of Apps to work. Try that.
