Wish we could get these working but it seems like no one on Crossover plays them

I love this game, but the only way I can play it is with boot camp. Fusion will not let me run it and neither will crossover. If anyone finds a solution to get it running on a mac not using BC, please let me know.

I can't get this to work either. Installing IE6 on the same bottle Completes the installer, but when I fire it up it comes up with a driver error.

Is it the 'Cannot open oreans.vxd driver. Make sure that oreans.vxd is not open by another program' error?

If so, this is due to GameGuard. If you are interested in requesting support for this you can write a ticket to info@codeweavers.com and ask to be added to bug 4405. Beyond that, we don't get a unified request to make Game Guard work... we get requests for Maple Story or Flyff or many of the others and we try to organize these requests together. Essentially there has to be enough of a demand for this to work before our developers can be deployed to it (or someone has to offer up an obscene amount of cash...not likely, I know), and when someone asks for a specific game to work, that request tends to die out when popularity of the game dies out; thus the problem (GameGuard, Punk Buster, etc) lives on.

I have the same problems when I tried to install Rohan (www.playrohan.com).

I installed Cross Over and Cross Over Game. When I launch Rohan within Cross Over Games it will come with this Dialog box.

The status on this remains the same as is listed on my above post. Unfortunately posting here with the same problem does not help get the ball rolling on this. If you would like to request support for anything using GameGuard (Rohan included) you will need to follow my above instructions.

what r u talking about, vmware fusion for mac runs this but the people have no bodies (just heads and arms and legs and guns). :)

Please read this thread's postings - our glorious Cupcake Ninja has spelled out the position
here - further postings to this thread will not help the situation here, and as far as I
know, the situation is still pretty much the same today..ie; 'GameGuard' is still known not
to work in crossover/wine (along with a few other programs like it...ie; hackshield pro).

Personal note: I have recently tested a couple of Nexon titles - although I do know how to
get around the installer issues, ostensibly it's a waste of time because when you go to
start the game, the GameGuard stuff kicks-in and kills it. I also think one of the titles
I tested was looking for .NET 3.x supports, which again are known not to be working currently.

If you want something to be looked at in these regards, as Caron has indicated, do not post
uselessly to this thread. Instead (quoting our enlightened ninja's words)..;
