The Clarion development environment is now up to version 8.
While the Clarion IDE has changed somewhat, it is difficult to say how much the underlying code has changed, especially with respect to its operability under crossover.
I think it is unlikely that the actual development IDE will ever work under WINE, because it is just too incestuous with Windows. However, what I think is more important, is how well applications compiled using Clarion work under Crossover.
If that improves, it means that Clarion programmers have some cross-platform oportunities.
Also, as Clarion programs can have a single executable without worring about external libraries, it makes for simple applications under Crossover/Linux.
