Civ 5 not working correctly

So i installed civ 5 a few days ago and it installed perfectly normal, i used steam for mac on my 17in macbook pro with 2.66 procs, 4g mem and an nvidia geforce 9400m and 9600m GT. I have the energy saving setting to operate in high performance so the 9600m GT should be active.

The problem i am having is im pretty sure something to do with anti aliasing, what happens is I run the game and create a game like normal but when the scenario is finished loading i click the start game button on the load screen. This is where the problem begins, when the game starts i should see a landscape of the civ 5 world but instead i get the HUD, but where the game landscape should be the load screen stays, i cant interact with the load screen it is simply a picture. When i move my view of the world around little icons begin to drag over the screen creating a line of this one image.

I really want to play this game and i would highly appreciate some help thank you

I also have this problem
someone help!!!

Hi,

Crossover Games for Mac, supports the win32 Steam client -- if you're
using the Mac port of the Steam client, it's unlikely anyone here will be
able to assist -- you should post to the Mac forums over on Steam's website.

If this is not the case...ie; you're actually using the win32 Steam client
with Crossover Games for Mac, then disregard this comment -- it's just the
English you have used suggests you're using the Mac port of Steam ;)

Cheers!
