it says 'supported' on the main page, but if anyone is willing/able to expand a bit on that I'd be greatful.

Steam have knocked 1/3 off the various Civ IV games/expansions this weekend, and I'm quite tempted but would appreciate any comments/reviews from people who are playing it, and what works, what doesn't, what settings can be achieved etc. and whether it's just the original that works, or the Warlords and Beyond the Sword expansions as well.

I have Crossover Games and a 2.4GHz iMac.

I've a 2008 Mac book pro.
Civ IV, Warlords and BTS wroks perfectly even better than the crappy mac version. Sure its still runs slowly when the map is really crowed (at the end of the game).

well i have steam copy of the game so i was wondering the same thing, so i put cross over games on my mac installed steam and downloaded CIV IV with out the expansion. it loads up fine and everything, but after i have chosen all the parameters for a new game, it stops updating my screen and my mac stops responding to user input. and then i hear the disembodied voice of spock. and i am forced to do a hard reset of my machine because it is completely unresponsive. i have tried to get this working in windowed mode, but the same thing happens.

it doesn't crash but i am getting this printed out to the console:
2/27/09 2:51:56 PM [0x0-0x1d01d].com.codeweavers.CrossOverGames[212] dyld: warning, DYLD_ setting caused circular dependency in /Applications/CrossOver Games.app/Contents/SharedSupport/X11/lib/libGL.dylib

for being on their supported list of games it is not working very well for me.
