hi all!

i am using crossover since the free grab for helloween and i gotta say, its running nice!

but, every time i try to load a civ BtS save, i gives me an error (see title of this thread)!!!

the whole game installed fine, patched to 3.19 and ran like a charm until the point where u have to reload your game from yesterday!
nothing changed to my machine, like i did not install any updates or other stuff and i always get this error when trying to load a save.

reinstalling helps, i can then load the game normally, but having to install the game each time is very very annoying!!!

if there is a fix for this please do tell me!

Try:
Go to manage bottles - > your civ4 bottle,
Control Panel - > Wine config,
Applications(and select the civ4 exe), then click - Libraries(prob only msxml3 is added) - > and add msxml3r, and set it to 'native'.

Also change Globe graphics level to Medium.

Also in the library section of the civ4.exe, try adding gameux as 'disabled'.
