I can confirm this for CXGames 9.1.0 on Ubuntu Linux amd64
Ya. Same here, I installed it in an XP bottle, and the install ran perfectly, but when I try to open it afterwards, it says that the CD-ROM is empty, it cannot find the disc. Does anyone know how to fix this? I love this game!
Remaining legally there is no working way I know of.
You may want to try those (legal!) patches by a German PC game magazine
