Problems with city life 2008 Edition in Crossover Games Linux 7.1.2 (unsupported build)

Hi people, i just tested City life 2008 edition in crossover games linux 7.1.2 (because 7.1 wouldn't even start the game) and i noticed it runs and works smoothly (fps were good in my 1.2m pop in swamp map) even first person view and 360 camera view works, however there are many issues that i wouldn't even recommend someone to play it other then test

1: You can't change your graphics settings, if you try to change your resolution, the game screen will be white and you can play it anymore unless you change it back to 1024x768 in the config settings.

2:Loading screen fad to black and white, not a major issue though

3: There are lines running across the water of the game (map tested was swamp) which make the water look unrealistic

4: Oddly, after a while of playing my game crashed, i tried to launch it back and it threw me into white screen again. It has sound and i noticed that when i click on the screen where i think menu buttons are i hear the click noise, but other then the mouse cursor the screen is white completely. luckily alt f4 works rather then the whole system going wacko. I reinstalled and i got the same thing. Wine doesn't have this issue, however wine has other issues that are annoying (like when you spin the camera you see black outlines of the object that was previously seen rendered over the new zone you are looking at) cedega 6.1.1 refused to run the game.

If we can find out what is causing the game to go white screen and loading screens to fade to black and white ( i think this is linked) then this game would be at least usable.

And oh yeah merry Christmas everyone and the crossover team!
