Cities XL Platinum Forum

Run the Crosstie, install the game and play the game! A 512mb GFX card is really recommended for this game.

Updating:
In the game menu you can choose for "update" it will bring you to the cities XL platinum patch page.
Download the patch. and go in crossover to "configure" and select the cities XL bottle.
Click on the application tab and click on "install software"
The Crossover installation screen will popup and in the first tab click on "other application"
On the "select installer" option select the patch file as installer and run the installer.

What to do if language is French instead of English!:

1. Don't panic!
2. Go in crossover to "configure" and select the cities xl bottle
3. On the bottle tab, click "Open c: Drive" and navigate to the game folder
4. In the game folder go to --> Data --> config and open "GlobalSettings.cfg" with a text editor
5. on <Localization> change the <Language>fr</Language> to <Language>en</Language>
6. save and close the file and start the game. It will be in English now!
