How can I install this game using Steam?
For me, I installed Steam using the built-in Steam installation procedure in Crossover Games.
Then, I purchased the game normally through the Steam interface. It ran well from there.
Before I launch into a game, you should go into your graphics settings and turn-off anisotropic filtering.
Note that I have been able to play the tutorial scenario without problems but, for me, loading larger cities in the game crashed it. (Berlin for example)
